Safety

WholyFit is safe for body and soul.

Body:

WholyFit™ was designed with your body as God created it in mind. Unlike yoga which is built on tradition, WholyFit™ uses the knowledge of human biomechanics to determine which postures are safe and beneficial. Each WholyFit™ instructor is taught the basics of anatomy. We are also taught how to modify postures to work in various life stages, such as pregnancy, as well as injury.

Soul:

Not only do we exercise our bodies in WholyFit™, but each session gives participants the opportunity to dwell on God’s Word, the truth upon which our soul finds a sure foundation. Yoga by contrast was designed as a form of worship of false gods.“ Yoga” literally means “yoked,” specifically yoked to Hindu gods (i.e. demons).

Stress Reduction

WholyFit™ is stress reducing.

Many exercise systems focus on hype, putting the participant's nervous system into the sympathetic, stress hormone releasing state. While stress hormones are given us for a purpose, using them to try to gain fitness shoots us in the foot. Stress releases cortisol, cortisol puts the body in a state of survival, and fat is stored as a precaution.

WholyFit™ on the other hand is designed to relax the nervous system, put participants into a parasympathetic state, and release calm and happy hormones. When the body feels safe, muscle is built, calories burnt, and body composition improves.
